Why am I getting heat out of one duct with ac on. and sometimes after it runs a while you can hear the blower but little air from the ducts.

wow1, no statement of you have manual HVAC or the
AZC options automatic zone controls. (apples and org, diffr)
or is your car the MTC HVAC (manual temp controls)?????
what is your question>?
are you saying, it worked ok before core change
or fails before and after core change,??
my guess, after....

did you run the self test ? (guessing AZC)

for sure the damper are failing
only 2 ways do do that
controls bad
or the actuator bad. (or the wire between) maybe even fuses?

the WJ, the book is free.
read chapter 24 HVAC yet?

the AZC has 4 electric damper motors. (actuators)

chapter 24 and 8w cover hvac. i FSM
ill now post AZC self test, (posted here 10 times now)
quote:
ENTERING THE AZC SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE
To enter the AZC self-diagnostic mode, perform the
following:
(1) Depress the A/C and Recirc buttons at the
same time and hold. Rotate the left temperature control
knob clockwise (CW) one detent.
(2) If you continue to hold the A/C and Recirc buttons
depressed, the AZC control module will perform
a Segment Test of the vacuum fluorescent (VF) display.
In the Segment Test you should see all of the
display segments illuminate as long as both buttons
are held. If a display segment fails to illuminate, the
vacuum fluorescent display is faulty and the heater-
A/C control must be replaced.
(3) After viewing the Segment Test, release the
A/C and Recirc buttons and the display will clear
momentarily. If a 0 is displayed, then no faults
are set in the system. Should there be any faults,
either "current9 or "historical", all fault codes will be
displayed in ascending numerical sequence (note no
effort is made to display fault codes in chronological
order). Each fault code is displayed for one second
before the next code is displayed. Once all fault codes
have been displayed, the system will then repeat the
fault code numbers. This will continue until the left
side set temperature control is moved at least one
detent position in the CW direction or the ignition is
turned "OFF".

end quote
if no AZC , nows the time to say..... right?

Dual air, blower works all speeds, nothing coming out any vents

that means the damper are failing.
most have damper motors.
and the tests are in the FSM book, did your read this first.
the Factory service manual.
the WJ book, read HVAC chapter and wiring same?
do you have option (day 1 option, got this?)
AUTOMATIC ZONE CONTROL SYSTEM
if yes, there is a self check mode, defined in the book.

eg

ENTERING THE AZC SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE
To enter the AZC self-diagnostic mode, perform the
following:
(1) Depress the A/C and Recirc buttons at the
same time and hold. Rotate the left temperature control
knob clockwise (CW) one detent.

then a huge list of 2 digit codes.
ask. or login to alldata.com like we do.... its all there. $15
or buy the book, when you buy the car, if DIY handy.

posted 100s of times now.... where to get accurate data !

the HVAC on this car is complex.
some have vacuum servo motors and some have electric motors controlling the damper/bend doors.
you will first see they are dead. but why , is the hard part.
post back which system you have.

AZC or not.
below is vacuum wonder servo's (actuators) got VAC?

I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee and my heater is not hot I checked the blend door behind glove box have flushed heater core and changed thermostat all is working wat else could it b

what engine? in WJ jeep.
Check all fuses yet>?
the water must be 180F or more, use a IR pyro gun aimed to thermostat housing yet,?
then check temp of both hoses,
all are 170F to 180f on a hot engine,
are both heater hoses hot , or just one, they must be equal and 170F +
did you scan the PCM first to see if there are HVAC errors.?
no?
does the blower sound normal on high?
does the blower blow, fast in all modes? strong.
does the heater work fan off, and levers set to full hot, in non recirc mode(fresh air ) moving car fast? and all vent modes?. moving fast?

checking dampers with no fancy scan tools is hard.
The jeep dealer can even sends commands to dampers.
but even a cheap one reports the errors. why not scan it.

the pure physics
  1. the coolant (water) must reach full 180F+
  2. the coolant must flow though the core, un restricted.
  3. the blower must blow or car move fast to move air flow.
  4. thru the core.
  5. the core must not be damper blocked.
there are simple tests for each , the last is more tricky.

Do you have AZC, option, automatic zone control? that be a key
diagnostic fact, that (has unique parts)
if yes, did you do the self test yet? and the many error codes it can produce? fsm chapter 24 shows 63 fault codes.
tell more get more.....

fSm quote on that page, AZC

(1) Depress the A/C and Recirc buttons at the

The meter that shows the effects number that is set only shows part of the number. Can that device be changed?

The segments are driven by transistors and it may be one of those has failed OR there is bad soldering.

Here is the schematic for the Xenyx 1622 which will have very similar effects display... it is on page 10 of the drawing:

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_xenyx_1622fx.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "Get manual" and click to download. IGNORE other download links.

Note that the display is SCANNED and you will not be able to take readings with a meter, only an oscilloscope. But if you know what part of the display is out, you should be able to analyze what part of the drive is missing. There is a digit select strobe and then decoded segment drivers.

My display numbers are upside down.

If this unit has worked before, and suddenly looks upside down, you are most likely seeing a display with missing or defective sigments. There are 7 segments needed to make number from 0 to 9. When a segment goes bad, you will see something different.
Sometimes the internal connections to the LCD display are dirty or corroded.

It should be a MURRAY part number 37X84 ( NOTE: that is read 37 "ex" 84 NOT 37 "by" 84, it is a part number not a measurement) but without knowing the exact model number of your lawnmower, I can't say for certain.

I own a Hoover Steam Vac V2 deep cleaner with Auto Rinse feature. The Model Number is not available ex: was on the bottom of the machine and the sticker is completely worn off the machine. I am having a problem with the bottle you fill with detergent ex: this bottle is separate from the main clean water tank. THE PROBLEM: The little plastic part that goes in the bottom of the bottle has an "O" ring ex: cone shaped with a spring.....it keeps falling out. Can you supply a part number for this component? The bottle has a number ex:36778-002. Thanks...Linda (504) 888-2120.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Hover SteamVac V2 with Auto Rinse feature. I would suggest because the model 3 and the serial 3 have been worn of the machine to contact your local vac dealer in your area and or the Hoover Factory Service or the Hoover Website for the Factory Model #, but the part that you are requesting is not very expensive and can be replaced. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

To fix the projection display that is stuck with four 8's, hold down the hour and miute button at the same time. Keep the buttons pressed down while unplugging the power source then pluging it back it. I did this and the screen works like it did when I first got it.
