E5-5 = The ink cartridges are not installed or a non-supported ink cartridge is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed properly

The Fine cartridge may not be installed properly,or the Cartridge may not be compatible with this machine.Install the appropriate Fine cartridge. If lines are misaligned or the resulting out put is not satisfactory, carry out the Fine cartridge Alignment.

What does H1 code indicate?

Hello E, I appreciate your post!
I see that your Frigidaire air conditioner is displaying an error code of "H1". I have reviewed the air conditioner and the "H1" error code could be an "HI". The "HI" error code means that the room temperature is above the display range. I would recommend performing a reset on your air conditioner. In order to reset the air conditioner you need to unplug the power cord you can press the reset button and then the test button that should restart your air conditioner. If that does correct your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful for you. -Matt

Why is e5 showing on my 15000 frigdare window unit

Ive seen ES, in two sites http://www.doityourself.com/forum/air-conditioning-cooling-systems/532071-frigidaire-ac-window-unit.html
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/window-air-conditioner-repair/error-codes/frigidaire-window-air-conditioner-error-codes.html So I'd tend to agree with the majority.

Frigidaire will not

The problem lies in the control board. Either a fan relay is stuck in the "on" position or the circuit controlling the relay is bad. A decent electronic tech or a new control board should fix the problem. Considering the value of the unit, it would be worth doing a troubleshoot and component-level repair if possible. If not, you can contact a local appliance parts house to order a new control board.

My frigidaire a/c is set 73fhrenheit after running for a time the temp. on the unite drops to 60 degrees by it self what is the problem ?

AC units, no matter if they are big/small, window or big central units. They will only cool the air in the room, or home, to about 15 degrees cooler than the outside air temperature. If you live in Georgia and it is 100?F+ outside, you will be lucky if the unit will reach 80?F even running all day.

Hello, you can use a drain hose and coonect it to the outlet of the drain hole. This way you can terminate the hose away from your neighbor.

Error code A5 on Frigidaire 12,000 btu air conditioner

I have a Frigidaire model FAK104R1V window air conditioner that did the same AS error code. The problem is going to be one of the 2 temperature sensors in the unit. Mine happened to be the ambient temperature sensor located at the front of the unit. They are fairly easy to replace and you can buy a new sensor for about $15 online.
