Do you have a cable box? If so and it is an over the air channel, try viewing the same channel via a antenna and see if it is maybe the cable company. Also, try switching I assume HDMI input, so if it is in slot 1 move it to slot 2 or 3. See if that fixes your problem. Be a trouble shouter, think about maybe even switching cable boxes, or if you are on dish, try a new reciever if possible. It might be the signal or the cable. Sometimes these are hard to track down. Try everything like this first, it will save you hassle when dealing with tech support if you have to take it back to the store. Also, what is your panel type. Another MFG is using V-Panels instead of IPS or S-IPS panels, and that is a problem as they don't last. And is frustrating if you order via mail as you don't know which panel is going to arrive. Look on the side of the box and see if you can tell what kind of panel you have. This could be the problem also other then cheap capicitors, a cheap screen ie China.

Try a hard reset to this set, and check. If it do not help you, its main system control memory IC is faulty; and should be replaced.
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
My family recently got one of these sticks. They work a bit like Netflix. You go on, and almost every single tv show or movie you have ever heard of will be on there. When you click on it, I believe internally it finds websites that stream it for free. Then there is a list of the different websites and you keep clicking on them one after another, until one works. However, it doesn't go into the website. I don't believe you can get live tv from them. However, sometimes it doesn't work or it's unable to play a certain movie/episode. I'm not sure if it is worth the price. Sorry if this didn't help.
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.
