I checked the Sandstrom Support page. The section on product manuals has no link, and the advisory, "Product manuals are coming soon." Try the contact link in the adjacent frame; perhaps the company can e-mail the information you need.
if you look at the rear of the ipod cover you will see a black plastic flap that is also the ipod lever when it is open, protruding into the door. you need to insert a thin knife blade and push this flap back so it clicks into position flush with its housing. this will take the lock off.
