Question about Computers & Internet
I recently purchased a Toshiba L505-S6946 with an Intel pro wifi 5100 AGN wireless card. I have a Netgear Router WGT624 that I have used for about 5 years and it works well with another computer with an Intel 1450 wireless card. How can I get the Intel 5100 AGN card to work with my router?
Is the wireless card driver installed and working?
Can the wireless card detect your Netgear Router and does it have a strong signal strength?
The Wireless card needs to be configured with the Netgear Router's SSID and encryption settings before it will communicate with the Netgear Router.
Let me know if you have further problems together with error messages.

The problem was the router was not seeing the wireless card because I had restricted the router to specific computers only for security reasons.
