Everything is working on our adjustable bed except the lower part doesn't lift.

Category moved from Sewing Machines, to one of the Adjustable bed categories.

You need a bed mechanic. If it clicks, that is the relay, but the motor isn't working.

Medline electric bed wont stay raised equally

If the bed is equal when raised and one end slowly goes down, that bed end is bad. Gears in the end may be stript allowing the cable to not hold.
If the ends are always unequal, dis engage drive shaft (head) and the spring loaded actuator at foot end.
in the middle on thetop of the bed ends slide the plastic access door to expose a slotted feed screw. Turn the slotted screw to make the end go down completely. Repeat on other side. Once completed put drive shaft back on and engage actuator at foot end. This should work

What are the rules?

Place one monkey for each player on the starting square. The other five monkeys for each player start in front of the players.
  • Place one monkey on the bed at the beginning of your turn. University Games recommends the youngest player start, followed by the next youngest, and so on.
  • Flick the spinner to choose randomly the number of spaces to move. Move your monkey that many spaces on the game board.
  • Perform the indicated action on the game board. The actions include bathing, dressing in pajamas, teeth-brushing and going to bed. Act out the actions similar to charades. Once the action is completed, place the corresponding action token in front of you. If you land on an action space you already have a token for, perform the action and the rest of the steps as usual, but do not take a token.
  • Place one monkey on the bed at the end of your turn. If you landed on a space with a picture of monkeys and a number instead of an action, place the number of monkeys indicated on the bed. If you do not have that many monkeys left, put all your monkeys on the bed.
  • Press the red bedpost to end your turn. Pushing the bedpost not only indicates the end of your turn but it also triggers a random action. Occasionally, the bed will shake. If your monkeys fall off, put them back in front of you. If they fall over but do not fall off the bed, set them up right again.
  • As you move around the game board, if you pass the start square, place another monkey on the bed. Repeat steps 2 through 5 until someone has all four action tokens and a minimum of four monkeys on the bed, winning the game.

Ultramatic bed problem - bed will not raise either head or feet - does not move at all. Received replacement remote from company but no different. Lights on remote do not stay on - only when press a button...

Had same problem with my husbands moms bed. Found out that it ended up being a stripped plastic piece that the screw uses to raise and lower the bed. Because its stripped the screws don't have anything to grip on again to raise or lower bed. Piece needs replacing, but not sure where to get them.

Just rebuilt the top end on my 1999 kx 250 and wondering what the torque specs are for the head and cylinder

    Cylinder bolts @ 25 ft/lbs (34Nm)
    Cylinder head nuts @ 18ft/lbs (25Nm)
Check these nuts again after first warm up and again after first two rides to let gaskets bed in and seal. Cheers.

How to convert crib to bed

I have the opposite problem - I can put it together as a toddler bed. The trick with that is that you put one of the long screws through both the hole at the SHORT end of the toddler bed side AND the metal flange from the springs into that end of the crib. The other long screw goes through the raised end of the toddler side into the end of the crib - where the child's head would be.

Is there supposed to be a plastic piece at the top of both ends of the crib on the side that does NOT go up and down? I can't seem to figure out how to put the crib side on.
