Question about HP Pavilion dv9000t Notebook
Otherwise totally dead, dead, dead...and way past the extended warranty. Was working when closed liad last - I moved (it was properly packed but sustained usual cross country vibrations in a truck) - Wondering if a power ribbon cable worked itself loose? Or the MB just died.
Open up the case and make sure that all the PC boards are properly seated in their slots.
Check all the ;power connectors and board connectors. One of them may have come loose during transport.
Leave the case open and turn on the power to see if the fans (case and CPU) are spinning.
Let me know if this fixes the problem or if we have to further research the motherboard. Thanks.
