Question about Maytag Atlantis MDE7400AY Electric Dryer
The dryer drum on our fairly new Maytag dryer appears to be staining. Or could it be that the finish on the drum is wearing off? Any help would be appreciated.
This may be caused by some kind of wash product or softener product. You may be using too much. You can use a blue glass cleaner or small amounts of mild abrasive cleaner and water to try to remove it. Drums are made of porcelain or stainless steel and should 'never' wear out.

I used WD40 then Bar Keepers for that mild abrasive and it worked! I had a dungaree blue stain in there for the past 5 years. It's gone now. Thanks!
