K5? which pipe is that..let's assume you have pressure to the back of the unit, yes? then you have a valve sticking or something obstructing the channels inside that unit..

does this work regardless of temperature setting.

SOURCE: cloged inlet filter

You can also buy new filters to replace the old inlet filters from Home Depot. They are not LG brand they are "generic" filters but they do work. LG does not supply these filters the only way to get them from LG is to purchase the entire inlet valve (keep in mind you have 2 hot and cold) to obtain these filters. You can call the parts dept 888-393-6484 and get the part numbers for these valves and a distributors phone number so you can purchase the valves from them. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: washing machine leaking at the connection to water pipe.

Hi vks1,

Your water is coming out into the washer even when you water supply is switched off at the pipe?

Disconnect the washer hose from the water pipe and see if the water still comes out of the water pipe even when the water valve is shut off!
If the answer is YES!

This is a plumbing malfunction.
The valve on your water pipe is not closing completely!
There is a washer in the water valve attached to the end of the valve stem that more than likely needs replacement.

And not a washer malfunction.

If I understand your explanation correctly this is the cause.

If this is not the problem then the washer has a water inlet that is stuck open.

But this dose not make sense if the external water valve is shut off there should not be water reaching the washer inlet faulty or not!

I believe I figured out the problem for you and you will be fine when the valve is fixed or the valve stem replaced!
Bless You,
ngafm

'H2O filter clog, clean filter' any ideas. We've cleaned the filter at the bottom of machine and the gauze like filter on the blue inlet pipe.Machine will not drain. is there a H2O filter hidden away?

First try resetting it by unplugging it or by turning off the circuit breaker. After ensuring that it has been disconnected for ten minutes, you can reestablish power and see if it resets to factory settings.

My 6th sense a+a 7 kg awo 3571 8 year old washer doesn't seem to be adding enough water to wash or rince . Clothes have a strong smell of detergent

You should open machine from the bottom and unscrew the draining pipe that comes from the drum. In there there is a plastic ball. Take it out and put machine back together (clean draining pipe and hole in the drum where it comes together or it will leak). That ball is there to prevents spill outs in case of doom, but in practice threw time like 7-8 years it gets clogged and prevents pump to dry drum properly (can also burn your pump ergo new machine).

Now clean drum around the entrance and detergent dispenser with strong detergent (you can take product specially designed for mold or just use bleach) and after wash it on 90°C long program.

Change detergent as it may be bad quality. Try to use liquid one.

If problem persist it may be quantity of water. You can change quantity threw software (look it up and increase it, if it's set too low) (check manuals on that).

There may be human error, if you use programs that are short and cool or if you let your cloth seat in the drum after it's finish or if you add to much of detergent. You may get these results as well.

Frontload washer leaking from under detergent dispenser

Hello, I worked on a problem like this a few days ago. Your problem is going to be a blockage in the inlet to the drum. To fix this problem find the inlet pipe normally located above the door behid a flap of rubber..push your fingers up there to see if you can feel a blockage..If not your going to have to remove the lid of the machine to access the pipe that leads from the detergent drawer to the tub. Look at the rear top of the machine..You will see three screws....remove them and push back and lift the top panel (lid) now you should be able to access the pipe. Pull the pipe off and clean it out, i suspect you will find a sock blocking the pipe :) If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again. Good Luck! Mike

Whirlpool wf810w 6th sense frontload washing machine when a program reaches the spin cycle the "door open' light starts flashing and the machine stops

Hi,
Problems like these are sometimes caused by blockages in pipes due to fabric softener sludge build up. Have somebody open the machine and check the pipes leading to the pressure switch and the pressure switch itself for blockages.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Best wishes,
Graemevm.

Whirlpool ADP4542 Flashes 7 times

If that's the clean lite flashing that is a fault code. That means the control sensed that the heater in the d/w did not operate 3 times in a row. so the unit locks out. First remove the kick plate and you may have to pull the unit out from under the cab, but check your heater. use a meter to see if it reads open, if so order a heater assy it will come with a new control replace it to. If your heater checks good press in sequence normal wash , heat dry ,normal wash, heat dry , normal wash , heat dry three times within 6 sec all the lights will come on then hit cancel. What that did is reset the control and clear that fault. Keep in mind that d/w does not heat it's own water your incoming water temp should be 120. the d/w will maintain that temp. when starting your d/w first turn on your hot water till it gets hot then start your d/w this insures your unit fills with hot water and not cold.
