Hi there. My coromaster 2000 has lost its limits. The travel on the opening mechanism is about 100mm each way i.e. the limits for opening and closed position have to be reset. How is this done. On back...

Recategorised from Vacuum cleaners to 'at least' a Garage Door Opener category.

This unit is only available in South Africa, and we are a North American website which is probably why help was not forthcoming in 2017.. There is some general help here though for setting travel limits.

Hi, My glidermatic gts keeps going open once it reaches the bottom, everything works; it?s just it keeps going open. I have to close open, close open until it stops in the close...

The Glidermatic GTS 2000 has limits that are stored electronically.

The problem you have is the closing limit is set too low and needs to be adjusted so the door is just resting on the concrete - currently it is trying to drive through the concrete, the motor detects and obstruction and reverses.

If your Glidermatic GTS 2000 was supplied & fitted prior to April 2010 you can download the 'Limit Setting' procedure on the Gliderol website. If the unit was installed after April 2010 it MAY have a revised PCB known as the NGTSv2 PCB. Contact your local branch for limit setting procedures as they are not yet available to download online.

The combination of a mechanical door and electric motor means periodical adjustment is required to esnsure the travel limits and - most importantly - the sensitivity is set correctly. A service to your DOOR is strongly recommended every 12 months.

I hope this helps

Washing machine pulls ca then c1 code. seems to be the calypso action problem. does it need a new motor

Hi,
The C1 code signifies "Average current limit Or Instantaneous current limit."

If a status signal comes back from the motor controller that a current
limit has been breached, the unit will return to standby mode and
display either CA for average current limit trip or C1 for
instantaneous current limit trip.

Average current trip occurs if there is a 2 second average of current
draw greater than 5.55 amps at the motor windings.

Instantaneous current trip occurs if there is a spike of 26 amps
instantly at the motor windings.

This may signify problems with the drive motor, thermal protector, or
motor controller. Over-loading the unit may cause this problem. "

Please check down the drive motor to resolve the issue.
Have a blessed day!
Thanks!

CANNOT FIND UNLOCKING CODE FOR VOLUME LIMITER ON IPOD CLASSIC BLACK 120GB

this should help you below. If you have set a password on the volume limit and forgot the password please let me know cause you will then have to remove the password or restore the device. This is only one step in trying to remove the volume limit it may work or it may not and you will have to use another method. But please tell me if this method works and if it doesnt i will instruct you on where to go from here. To set the maximum volume limit for iPod classic: 1 Choose Settings > Volume Limit. The volume control shows the current volume. 2 Use the Click Wheel to select the maximum volume limit. You can press Play to hear the currently selected song play while you select the maximum volume limit. 3 Press Play/Pause to set the maximum volume limit. A triangle on the volume bar indicates the maximum volume limit. 4 Press the Menu button to accept the maximum volume limit without requiring a combination to change it. Or, on the Enter Combination screen, set a combination to require that the combination be entered to change the maximum volume limit. I have a Ruud Acheiver 90, I'm having some problems, the rollout (burner) limit switches are opening, and there is an electrical burning smell. It seems that sometimes the squirrel cage isn't kicking on,...

Thanks for your question,
yup your fan motor is bad, if you need to manually start it each time then the motor winding are bad and it is not getting the air across the coils, which in turn are over heating, thus causing a burning smell, and then tripping your limits, you need to replace this motor ASAP, before it does cause a fire, if the limits ever fail !! I hope this was helpful for ya, if it was please give this a rating, thanks again,
