Question about Washing Machines
Washer runs until spin cycle and stops and shows code. I unplug unit and let sit for a while and restart and unit somettimes work or will shut down and show same code. Is this same error as LE code
No, this is not the same as the LE code. The FE code indicates an overflow error or condition. The things to check out would be the drain and the drain line to make sure there are no kinks in it. The drain hose can get clogged with sludge and sometimes a hot wash with a 1/2 cup of vinegar will clean out the sludge. If that doesn't work, I would take a look at the pump to make sure it is not clogged with anything and that the pump impellers are good. Take a flashlight and look into the suction port of the pump. Look for any broken or missing impeller blades. If any are broken or missing or if the impeller will not move freely, the pump would need to be replaced. Hope this helped and best wishes.
