Frigidaire dryer drum liner

I have a Frigidaire Gallery Dryer that is about 10 years old. The drum has a gap in the front between the drum and the inside panel around the door. I believe there used to be a liner of somesort that kept this gap tight enough that clothes would not get caught up between the drum and the inside panel, which is what is happening now and ruining clothes. Is there a fix/replacement part I should look for? I cannot find anything in my owners manual. Thanks.

Yeah, i think there called "drum glides" www.partselect.com type in your model number and you if they have that dryer in the system, then breakdown of the dryer will show, multiple diagrams. And look for the glides that are supposed to go there...hopefully this helps

Were is the thermal fuse located on the frigidaire fde336res1

It is located on the rear bulkhead upper right hand corner. Ti access it you pop the top with a putty knife and remove the front panel. Get the drum out. I recently worked on one and did a video:

The drum on my frigidaire Gallery dryer is tipped down , so there is a gap at the bottom and clothes get stuck in it. Can this be adjusted?

Suspect one or more failures of the drum front support bearings. Remove the cabinet top by removing several screws at the rear of the top, then pushing it to the rear somewhat which should allow the top front to lift up to allow removal of the front cabinet panel by taking out several screws on each side, then lifting the panel up to release it from the bottom. Once the panel is off, the support bearings should be mounted around the drum opening in the panel. Hope this helps!

My dryer is ten years old. A few months ago, some of the clothes would come out with rust stains on them. Some of the clothes would get caught in the seams which would cause staining, tearing and...

I would suggest replacing the front drum bearing. Sounds like the gap is now excessive, obviously allowing clothes to get caught up in there. Drum must be removed from the dryer to do this.
Good luck, hope this helps.

Clothes caught between drum and top of front panel: Frigidaire

You have a bad tub seal. It is glues onto the front panel...looks like a thick felt pad. Common thing on Frigidaire dryers.

The rear drum support needs replacing.
The front glides and felt seal needs replacing.

Burn marks on clothing

The front felt drum seal may be bad. It is attached to the front panel, around the door.
Check and or replace the rear drum support it has worn down the ball and cup support. It will soon begin making a grinding/squealing noise.
When it wears and drops down the gap is greater at the front around the felt seal. Laundry gets caught in the gap and scorches.
