If you have already tried and replaced the battery then something is wrong with your phone and you need to take it into the store and tell them what is wrong

I have had my iphone less than a week- i did not expect it to have problems so soon. .... i have iphone 2g my battery ran out now it wont recharge or turn back on? .... but it doesn't turn on, it...

If your iPhone's battery runs very far down, the iPhone won't turn on. That's because it's using its remaining battery life to preserve your data and settings. So, your iPhone could be refusing to turn on because its battery doesn't have enough juice. In that case, plug your iPhone into a wall charger or into your computer (plug it directly into the computer; some USB ports on keyboards don't have enough power to charge iPhones). Let it sit for 10-20 minutes. If it was low on battery and needed a charge, when it's got enough juice to power the screen, it will turn on and show you its charging status, starting with the red battery icon.During this process, you may also want to make sure there's no lint packed into your cable or the iPhone's dock connector. This isn't a hugely common problem, but a lot of pocket lint could interfere with the iPhone getting a charge.

Hello, My Iphone is completely dead. The battery went down and I was about 2 months without using it. Now I'm trying to unlock it but the Itunes doesn't recognize it. The screen is black with no battery....

First, plug the iphone into the wall with your usb cable and power adaptor. Then hold down the sleep/wake button (button on top left) and the home button (bottom middle button). Keep holding those two buttons until you see the Apple logo. This should turn it back on and then charge it. If not, Genius Bar.

Most likely your iPhone battery is dead. If you have the AppleCare and hasn't expired Apple will replace your iPhone battery free of charge.

If it has expired you can pay about $50 (I think) and Apple will replace the battery. If you think that's too much go to Amazon/Ebay and look for an "iPhone Battery Replacement Kit." Remember if you do decide to do the battery replacement yourself. You're voiding your Apple warranty & they won't replace it.

Iphone is not charging... it shows the battery with a lightning bolt underneath. It only shows this when I have it plugged in; if I unplug it, it immediately goes dead.

Obviously, it's battery problem. Go to the apple store and get a new iphone if you're covered under warranty :) And if you're not, there is no way to fix this because the iphone's battery cannot be taken out, literally.

I have plugged an extended battery to my iphone - while I was downloading information - Iphone and battery went dead after a while. Now plugging in the Iphone it seems dead - not even itunes see the phone

It's starting to sound like the phone may very well be bricked. Holding down the power button and home button was the first thing that came to mind, so it's too bad that didn't work.

Not all hope is lost, though. You can try and see if somehow you can get the phone in DFU mode, even though it is unresponsive. Follow the directions here. They even have a video to help, which is really helpful, as timing is key with DFU. The only thing you'll be doing is acting as though the iPhone is currently on like in the video, even though yours is not.

If that doesn't work, unfortunately, you may need to make a claim with the extended battery manufacturer and try talking to Apple. The battery company has it in their best interest to fix your situation in an effort to keep you, their customer, happy. Hopefully they see it that way!

Not charging /battery sign has lightening symbol on it

lighting symbol? Im assuming thats a iPhone or iPod Touch. this means your iPhone is dead keep it plugged in for a day or two if it still fails to turn on try plugging it in to charge somewhere else like a wall charger.

Iphone not charging

To charge any battery (also on iPhone) both negative and positive poles of the cable and battery need to connect. Check the inside hole of the lightning plug on your iPhone while the device is turned off. Most of the time dust and dirt gets clogged in the small connector. While your phone is in your pocket, purse or hands 24/7 this intrusion is inevitable filled with dirt. Soo much that cable and battery don't connect to exchange current. Take a toothpick and gently check if any dust/garbage/paper/stuff is in there? The inside of most clothing pockets, were we all keep our smartphone are filled with dust and small dirty particles. Unclog the connector and try to charge it.
