SOURCE: leaking detergent

Sounds like the back of the soap drawer or inlet hose is partially blocked. Check whether junior has posted a toy car in the drawer

SOURCE: LEAKING DISPENSER DRAWER

Refer to your manual regarding the dispenser tray. You could try using a tooth brush to clean out dry detergent, which could be blocking the flow of water. You can take out tray to clean, ref manual.

SOURCE: front load washer leaks from the detergent drawer in the front

try taking the drawer out and clean it thoroughly, including the underside of the drawer, then clean the inside of the machine where the drawer fits into. Sometimes a build up of dertergent can casue this problem

bpkaplan - did you find a solutiion? I have the exact same problem with my LG Tromm WM2477HW front load washing machine. It is about 2 1/2 years old.

Leaking clear water from behind the faceplate
Most likely the lid seal and/ or the detergent dispenser seal is leaky. Do not operate the dishwasher in this condition as the water can cause electrocution because the mains voltage comes up to the drawer front panel. Most likely it is the detergent dispenser seal.

Use high efficiency detergent that s more concentrated. It uses MUCH lesser detergent VoLUME than conventional. The detergent has "He" letter on the bottle. Are you sure it is coming from the detergent drawer? It could be from your inlet water valves. They are very easy to see. Two screws on the rear of the machine will let you slide the top back and expose the componets.
