There could be many problems, but chances are that the contacts on the memory card, or in the camera are coroded (this is aextremely common thing in salty air) go to an electronics store and buy some metal contact cleaner, and q-tips, then use the q-tips to rub the contact cleaner onto the contacts of the memory card, and onto the contacts in the camera, then wait for a while, and you might want to use a hair dryer to evaporate the contact cleaner to avoid short circuts, then wipe off the card and blow onto the contacts in the camera, then it should work
