Model ARP-2113 has a drain at bottom- awkward to drain in pan? any suggestions?

there is probably a blocked pipe or filter it will need cleaning, you may need a pump to remove the water first to get to the pipe to clean it out.

In answer to your question, the drain pan is removable. This drain pan is available for purchase. The problem is both Samsung and LG are not service friendly. The drain pan is not secured with fasteners and just lifts up.

However, There is the interference from the seal system (refrigerant) tubing and compressor which prevents you from pulling the drain pan out.

On my service calls with drain pan leakage, I just repaired the drain pan with duct tape an silicone adhesive. Because I could not get the drain pan out with out moving the compressor.

Both, Samsung and LG are the worst service friendly and highest cost for repair.

Check the drain tube that runs from the freezer to the drain pan, my guess is that its plugged with goo, connect a bulb like you use to asperate a child nose ect and see if it plugged, you can use hot water from the drain pan end and force the water up forcefully to break it loose or you may have to remove the bottom pan in the freezer and clear the drain. If its got ice built up blocking the drain then use hot water to cut the ice and clear the drain first if possible, then the water pan will catch it, but don't let it over flow.

The water drain plug is located on the rear. On the bottom left edge next to the cord keeper. You'll need a pan that will fit under the drain hole, before you unscrew the drain plug. Which has a plastic handle.

you may have a crack in the drain pan. or you drain line has a hole in it . remove your drain pan check for cracks. some glue can repair that, an glue can repair your drain line too.

I have ZERO experience with bottom freezers...
BUT
I can assure you a WELL working refrigerator will
deposit water at least daily in the DRAIN PAN...

You will likely not find the pan dry & dusty..
That is typically a sign of DEFROST PROBLEMS.

If your pan is filling toward the TOP on a daily basis... That is USUALLY a SIGN you live in a really HUMID climate OR...

You have a PROFOUND air-leak causing abundant
FROST... Resulting in High (defrost) water in your
DRAIN PAN...
AIR-LEALS are most commonly caused by poor
gasket contact... or REFRIGERATOR CONTENTS
(pizza box) blocking full DOOR/DRAWER closure.

Generally:
you want to follow the manufacturer's warm "SOAPY"
cleaning approach...

GREEN can be pretty unsettling...

If the pan is REMOVABLE... DAWN like detergent
is probably on the AGGRESSIVE side but
I also like SUPER-CLEAN food storage.

Just remember... WARM... never HOT..!!

Wash it alL out quickly... ad gently put it back ...

Either put it over a drain or, stick a cork in it.
