Phone wont work

Hi the white screen is not due the it being on flight mode, the reason you have got a white screen is due to a data ribbon breaking, let me explain

their is a thin piece of ribbon that connects the screen to the circuit board in the bottom of the phone, now inside this ribbon is several one strand copper wires, these send the signal from the circuit board to the screen, now when you open and close the phone this ribbon bends so as it keeps the signal with the screen at all tiems, now over time the copper wires inside this ribbon become brittle and break and this is what causes the white screen, its just a loss of data.

you know the phone is working as you have a white screen but you wont be able to do anything as you cant see what the hell your doing.

the good news is as this is such a very common problem on all flip and slide phones it makes the part very cheap to buy and cheap to have fitted, once this ribbon has been replaced your phone will be working again as normal.

all the flight mode does is put your phone into a none working state but you would still be able to see the screen and play games etc so this is not the cause of your problem, you need to get this data ribbon replaced, the best place to have this done is go to a small phone shop and not a big branded one as the big shops will send your phone off and this will cost you more.

if you go to a small high street phone shop and ask them to repair it for you they should be able to repair it whilst you wait or next day at the latest.

I believe your screen may have a bad connection to the handset, try flipping it many many times using more pressure then normal

my mp3 player is just showing a blank white screen. it wont turn on, wont turn off, my computer wont recognize it, nothing. whats going on and how can i fix it? thanx. anything will help at this point.

i had the same problem before. theres nothing wrong with it, it just needs a new lcd screen. u can either fix it yourself or take it to a mobile repair shop.

Try using a different battery. If that doesn't work, phone's IC must be damaged. Get the phone checked from a Nokia service centre.
