I have a Janome mc 9000. my screen is too bright. how can I make darker.

lift the upper storage area - look inside where the feet are stored. At the inside front area there you should see a smal semi-circle valve - sorry don't know what else to call it. turns left or right and as you turn the screen's brightness will adjust. I had the same problem until a technician explained it to me. Good luck!.

The LCD screen on my janome 9000 sewing machine has gone blank, but i can still sew it's just i can't see the screen, can it be fixed?

Either the bulb has burned out or you have accidentally turned the control to darken the screen. Look in the top where the feet are stored. You should see a half moon shaped valve on the inside edge of the top front - that is the control for the brightness/darkness control of the screen.

LED screen won't light up on New home 8000

First, open the lid where the feet are stored, look on the right side front of the backside of the panel for a round knob. This is the brightness control. Turn it gor more or less brightness. If this doesn't solve the problem, you have a bad screen which must be rebuilt by Janome . Take the machine to a Janome dealer (they are the only one's Janome will deal with) who wilremove the panel, send it to Janome for a rebuild and reinstall it for you. You may as well have the machine serviced while this is being done as everything is already exposed for proper cleaning and lubrication. Be aware , this may cost as much as $400 but the machine is worth it.

Pfaff 7570 display screen info is very faint & difficult to read

Hi Carolyn,

Look for a small turning wheel, just below the green and pink selection knobs, on the front right of your machine. Turn it anticlock wise for a darker image and clockwise for a lighter image. Enjoy!
