Question about Dell Inspiron 2650 Notebook
I have a Dell Inspirion 2650. I have had this computer for quite a while and my warranty has expired. My adapter and cables are in good condition. The battery is also brand new. I have tried different outlets to no avail. It was working perfectly fine this AM, and now it just won't work. I have went to the control board and tried to switch to various alternatives, still nothing. Is there a fix that I can perform myself? I just got laid off, and can't afford to bring it in to a repair shop or purchase a new computer. Please help.
Try using a different power adapter. They sell for around $25 and up on the internet. Dell adapters burn out quite often.
