Need to disassemble Mitsubishi VS-6041 60 in Rear Projection

How do i disassemble this TV to get it downstairs. I've removed the back but unable to find a way to get to the projection portion holding the mirror and does the front plastic screen come off. I notice brackets in ea. corner holding it in place....how in the HECK do you get to all these areas holding the components together.

1st TV is cool, 2nd Remove the Front lower speaker cover by pulling left and right ends toward the front there are upper and lower plastic hold pegs on each side 3rd remove the panel located between speakers 4th remove All screws out of plastic control cover located just below channel, volume ect... 5th remove anything on top of the VS-60705 DVD,VCR,Cable boxes est.... 6th gently lift each top corner of Plastic Screen Frame. take note: there are 2 pegs at the middle of each side of the screen frame and 3 hook mounts at the top of Screen Frame. The top Hook Mounts flex wraps around top Screen cover, where the side hooks just rest on the TV housing. 7th Lift frame up and the Screen Frame Releases and place on Ground in front of TV. Remember The Screen is PLEXI GLASS and if you remove the Frame and allow Screen to bend it will BRAKE and you are Totally Screwed....!!!! So just be nice and do not Bend, Walk On, Drop Tools or Hammers onto...!!! 8th Remove Rear Dust Access Cover Screws Remove Cover 9th Get Wet/Dry Vac and Use A Clean Paint Brush and began to Brush Circut Boards while Blowing The Dust Out and Off of TV. Clean Inside Projector Lens With Glass Clean, I spray onto Soft Cloth and then Clean inside of Projection Miorror I use Paper towls and then inside of Screen Sitting on Floor 10th I put the Front Screen Back on ready to mount but i take and blow any dust off with vac and then lower Fame back onto mounts making sure the 3 top flex mounts lock and frame is flush with TV case,Replace screws next, then middle panel back on then speaker covers pushes back into Mount Plugs. 11th I then got to rear and wipe off the Projector Lens one last time and put the rear dust cover back on....Cresto" wow like brand new"....make sure you brush dust off because moisture loves dust and then makes a unwanted Ground and POW something just Smoked...!!!! hope this helps anyone out MERRY CHRISTMAS" ....Our Savior IS BORN Happy Birthday JESUS"

Wow, You are asking for a complete disasemmbly. If this is necessary, you have to remove any screws you can find that are connected to the front panel. Usually they are in the top of the set ( you'll find them after removing the mirror panel and mirror ). I wouldn't remove any tubes as the tube convergence would have to be all reset and that would require a cross hair generator. I do hope this has helped in some way, but all I can do is send you my best wishes as I certainaly don't suggest disassembly if there is any other way. Good luck

Main setup menu froze on screen unable to remove, also TV just stays on have to unplug from outlet. Press Rest button, and home button on remote nothing happens. Do have background channel TV from cox cable...

If the model number posted here is correct (vs-70707) this is a VZ8 Chassis made around 2000 and should NOT have a reset button on the front.

Please confirm actual model number.

Note: almost all Mitsubishi sets have a hidden menu (two or more) and one allows with the Mitsubishi remote to enter for example the OPTION menu and there you will be able to do a HARD RESET on the set which sets ALL settings back to default.
