Yes it can. Toe save INC. you have to set the printer settings to FAST print. If you use special printing commands such as Poster, Premium, BEST, Photo paper, or as such, you put the demand on ink at the highest ratio. If you set the command to plain paper, fast printing, standard paper type, etc. then the printing heads use less ink or INC.

Coming dark prints

It depends on which model of Kyocera Printer you have. Please clarify. With most models it can be controlled from the front panel, by selecting the correct EXIT selection for FACE UP. When the clutch engages you will hear it change from the FACE DOWN (top) tray to the rear exit.

I would however suggest that you use a good quality brand of envelopes and DO NOT ATTEMPT to use envelopes with PEEL-n-STICK flaps as this can damage the drum, developer and fuser resulting in costly repairs and voiding any warranty that you might have.

Hope that this helps you out. I used to work as a Systems and Design Engineer for Kyocera-Mita America for nearly 6 years and have more than 15 years copier and printer experience, and know these machines quite well, inside and out.

Hp laserjet p3015 prints really dark. how can i lighten it?

EconoMode This product has an EconoMode option for printing drafts of documents. Using EconoMode can use less toner and decrease the cost per page. However, using EconoMode can also reduce print quality. HP does not recommend full-time use of EconoMode. If EconoMode is used full-time, the toner supply might outlast the mechanical parts in the print cartridge. If print quality begins to degrade under these circumstances, you will need to install a new print cartridge, even if there is toner supply remaining in the cartridge. Enable or disable EconoMode in any of these ways:
  • At the product control panel, select the CONFIGURE DEVICE menu, and then select the PRINT QUALITY submenu. EconoMode is turned off by default.
  • In the embedded Web server, open the Settings tab and select the Configure Device option. Navigate to the Print Quality submenu.
  • In the HP Printer Utility for Macintosh, click Configuration Settings , and then click Economode & Toner Density .
  • In the Windows PCL printer driver, open the Paper/Quality tab, and select the EconoMode option.

Have a canon c130.changed toner and still getting dark streaks on copies. Have cleaned all I could find inside still dark streaks

Try doing a "stop test." You would induce a jam before the paper reaches the fuser.

Just open a cover while printing and hopefully some image has been transferred to the paper. If the defect exists already then the laser unit, or document scanner may be causing it.

If that eliminates the dark streak, then obviously the fuser FG6-3720-000 should be changed.

I am trying to print onto pre-printed forms which have a dark blue band at the top. My printer isn't recognising that the band is there so is starting to print too far down the page. Help please!

This type of problem can usually be resolved simply by adjusting the margins from within your word processing program. Depending on which word processor you are using you can go into the page setup and make these changes. For Microsoft Word go to the "File" tab at the top then to page setup. The first tab that comes up will allow you to change the margins on the page. If the print is too far down try reducing the top margin from one inch to 0.5. If that is not enough reduce it some more. Print test pages on regular paper, then hold them up to the light against the paper with the pre-printed band to see how the print lines up. That way you don't waste the expensive paper!

Sato 408E problem

Using direct thermal labels it can dirt the printhead and platen roller, you must clean them with isopropyl alcohol and a flannel. Also adjust the darkness to less value to best print.

Printer is producing too dark and purple shaded output. I believe this has to do with nozzle jet function but there is no information on how to reset the nozzles on the basis of the colour printout. It's...

Are you trying to print
1). photgraphs in colour
2). Photographs in B&W
or
2). plain text
In canon iP4000, you can do a Nozzle check by going to the maintenance.

Go to print anything from a word file or an excel file > in the print box > go to Properties> go to Maintenance.
Here you can do Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Print head Alignment and Nozzle check.

If your Nozzle check matches the check pattern(this you will find once the Nozzle Check gives a print), then it possible that either the right paper is not put in or your master could be very dark. Alternatively you could reduce the print setting to Standard...

Let me know if the above solves your problem..if not we can do some more trouble shooting.

Label not printing

Firstly, check your software settings, sometimes you need to reduce the print speed a bit, and turn the darkness up... if there is a knob for print head pressure adjustment, turn it up! i'd also clean the head and platen roller with isopropyl alcohol, failing all of the above, contact your media supplier and check that you have the correct media combination. hope this is of help to you, Markus.ps Failing that ...if you need a trained intermec engineer....... contact Precision Peripherals.... Problem printing on Glossy Label [butterfly label] using Zebra TLP 2844 EPL

You must make sure that the ribbon is compatible with the label you are attempting to print on. It must be a permanent resin. We use the AXR7+ material. Try to avoid using such a high printer head temperature as this will reduce the life of the head.
