Question about Canon PIXMA MX860 OFFICE AIO-2.5IN LCD 19.4X17.1X8.9IN All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a Canon Pixma MX860 AIO. I am trying to print out labels and business cards. Everything looks to be in alignment on the on-screen Avery template in Word, however, when I print using the corresponding Avery labels and card stock, everything is way off. Not just a little - I mean way off.
I have tried to make adjustments to compensate, but the isn't enough to make up the difference.
Can someone please shed some light on this for me.
You may need to use some free software that is available for 10.4 and 10.5 users. produced by avery it is the DESIGN PRO available for download at
also available for PC
a bit awkward to learn, it does the advertised job

I was having the same problem. I was trying to print business cards on 8879 AND 8869 paper, I downloaded templates for Word & Photoshop and I downloaded a wizard for Word. It was aligned perfectly on my screen but every time it printed, it was 1/8 of an inch off.
The solution JSmatney posted of downloading the Avery DesignPro software was the only thing that has actually worked for me! It's not too hard to use. Thanks!!
