The is no volt or amps for a power cord, that is for power adaptor, you can use any cable that fit in your modem adaptor.

Where do I get a new power cord for the HP 3970 which has been in storage for a while, but I want to begin using it agains, and can't locate the power cord. HP has discontinued this model and nothing on...

The correct part number for just the "brick style" power module (AC Adapter) for an HP Scanjet 3970 is L1970-80003. It is a specific 12V DC 2 Amp module. Today it can be purchased for $18.06 plus shipping from the HP Parts Store. However, if you are looking for just the power cord to your scanner's AC adapter, this brick style power module AC adapter does require a separate standard C13 detachable power cord to the specifications of your area, for instance, in the USA the power cord to connect the scanner to the power module AC adapter is part number 8120-6260, and it is a common power cord for monitors and computers. I learned all this because I had a scanner error message when I tried to use a different power module on the HP Scanjet 3970 when I lost the power cord to the original module. I hope this info helps somebody else, too.

Hello, you can buy one AC to DC voltage converter (usually 1000mA) - which comes with multiple output tips and you manual setting the Volt that are required by your burner(check behind of your burner near the socket that you plug the power it should right ..Volt and the mA or AMP) and adjust the converter

Electrical wiring for 120/208 service as opposed to 120/240 service

Your machine requires 208-240 volts to operate with each leg being about 120 volts. Move refrigerators are 120 volts so even though you have 20 amps you probably only have 120 volts.

You can go to the Bunn website (bunnomatic.com) click on Commercial then on Publications then Illustrated Parts and Service manuals and download the manual for your machine that shows how the wiring hooks up in the machine and the type of cord the machine requires to handle the voltage.

The plug you need must match the receptacle in the wall and there are numerous 220volt plugs and receptacles on the market. Don't get a dryer plug instead try for a twist lock as they are more reliable.

yes take your player to radioshack and get a new power adapter the reason you take player with you is to get the proper power rating in volts and amps which usually is printed near terminal where you old adapter plugs in on on a sticker on the bottom of the dvd player or try ebay:
