If this is a inkjet printer, there might be an issue with the nozzles. You might want to try a new print cartridge or clean the nozzles.

I print labels with my Microline 320 Turbo. I put a new ribbon in and the labels are so wet and bold and after sitting for awhile they bleed until you can't read them. I have the lever on the print head...

This results from theway the print head is striking the paper. If you have it set to NLQ. it will be heavy, you can set it to a draft mode or SSD:

Print the Menu Settings, to see what your settings are:

Printing the settings is the only way to have a record of

the settings.

1 Make sure paper is loaded in the printer.

2 Enter the Menu Mode (SHIFT + SEL).

3 Press PRINT (PARK key).

Print Quality

! Important!

Front panel settings for print quality and character

pitch are overridden by software commands.
The lights will always reflect the printer's state.

Press PRINT QUALITY to select:

NLQ: Near Letter Quality

• Highest quality, slowest speed

• Courier or Gothic fonts

• Recommended for correspondence

UTL: Utility

• Medium quality, medium speed

• Gothic font only

• Recommended for internal documents and high-volume

data.

HSD: High Speed Draft

• Lower quality, faster speed

• Gothic font only

• Recommended for drafts.

SSD: Super Speed Draft

• Lowest quality (12 cpi only), fastest speed

• Gothic font only
• Recommended for fastest output of drafts.

Super Speed Draft

To use Super Speed Draft (SSD), enter the Menu Mode and

make changes as follows:

1 Press SHIFT + SEL.

2 Press GROUP twice.

3 Press SET until DRAFT prints as the setting for the Print

Mode.

4 Press ITEM.

5 Press SET (SSD prints).

6 Press SHIFT + SEL to exit Menu Mode and save your
changes.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Is the canon printer just to print pictures

No, it's for all your home use printing needs. The Photo printer specification means that it's suitable ALSO for printing photos with a higher quality which a normal InkJet printer won't do. Your printer has a black and white print speed of 29 ppm and a color print speed of 19 ppm ppm. That's not a feature for photo printing, but for day to day use.

Is there anyway to make the printing go quicker?

Kinda depends on your need for quality. The lower the quality that you demand of the printer, the faster the print. I set my printer to "draft" and it prints 4 times faster than the "normal' setting..... Try it (for speed)

My printer is hp 2418 it is given print is very slow . so what to do

Adjust the Quality Settings for your printer.

Reduce the quality.

If it's on Best/Maximum Quality, Then change it to Normal or Draft.

That will speed it up, although it will accordingly reduce print quality, as well as amount of ink used per page.

HOW DO I SPEED UP MY PRINTER ON A MFC BROTHER 240 C

The only speed selection is when you select print quality, draft is fastest, and selecting best will slow the printer down to snail speed.

Prints extremely slow

It seems that you are trying to Print High Resolution Pics. Thats why you are getting prints slowly.

Try reducing the Resolution of the Pic or setting the quality of print to Normal in the Print Preferences and your speed will increase for sure.

Ladder orientation barcode printing bad resolution needs correcting

Try slowing down the speed of the printer. Faster speeds degrade the quality of your print. Try printing your serial (ladder) barcodes at 2-4 inches per sec. It should improve the quality of your format.

Lexmak x2500 way to light

If the printing is too light, it is the printing quality issue. Just goto Printing Preferences>Quality/Copies tab, select the Quality/Speed to Normal or Photo, and the Paper Type to Plain or Photo, then it may help your problem.

hello babu,
the problem is not with the printer, problem is with your general knowledge, to print on cd/dvd surface means you have to stick the sticker (cd label sticker) on the cd, then put the cd on the printer to print.
ok
