I recently acquired this air filter from a friend. The problem is it won't turn on. Once I push the switch to turn it on the front panel flickers with a light a split second. I opened it up and when I turn it on I hear a small flick and then nothing else. Please help!

Its probably the starter. Manual says to replace both lamp and starter at same time.

The problem is dust or moisture on one or more of the circuit boards, in the bottom of the unit. The problem is usually caused by resetting the cleaning reminder without actually cleaning the machine. ;-) It hasn't been difficult for me to solve so far. Remove the filter. Remove the two screws that hold on the plate where the rear switch is located. The wires are long enough that they don't need to be removed from the switch. Use a blow dryer or dry compressed air to blow off the circuit boards. ****Keep your face out of the way!!! Be sure not to get the blow dryer too close or too hot. If you have a Warm setting, use that. Good luck!

Hi I have Mitsubishi split unit which is 5 years old. when turn heat mode for 30 deg C on the remote condesing unit runs for about 6 minuts and stops. what would be the Technical problem ?Thanks an Apprentice.
A common problem with the Fresh Air when they are not cleaned regularly is heat build up, which may cause circuit board failure. There are two processors on the circuit board which burn out. The circuit board can be repaired rather than replaced at a very reasonable cost and one repair facility will guarantee their work for 1 year. Call toll free (336) 499-2505 between 8: 00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern time and they will gladly help you.
