How to remove initial caution screen? (by 2 users)

posted by wolujewicz on Nov 24, 2007

When you first turn on the unit, a caution screen appears where you have to press enter to proceed. This is a pain when I put it in reverse and need to see the reverse camera. How can I bypass this screen?
I have the same problem.

Sure, I have the same unit in my 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor. I had to re-design the entire center/radio Console to fit this unit in. As soon as the "Caution" Screen comes on, hit the play/pause button (The round belly button, button on the remote) and it will vanish, automatically. And you are right, it is a pain in the ass. I wish there was a way to permanently disable it, but i don't know if there is. If I know of anything I will let you all know. Hope this helps.
