Dish machine sticks in rinse cycle

Check the solenoid valve on the rinse piping at the top back of the machine. shut water off and take the coil and the top off of the solenoid, carefully remove the innards (so as not to lose them and to remember how they went together) check for debris inside and clean out. Put it back together and try it. If that doesn't work, you will need to replace the solenoid valve. Cost is around $100 at Grainger for a suitable valve or if you want factory part, it is around $350 from Hobart.

Commercial dishwasher needs a repair. The water heater booster rusted out, leaks and needs to be replaced with a new unit. Need a repair company that works with the State.

You can order a new booster heater.... I would just need the size of the booster heater itself in order to price you one.... What state are you talking about? Susan Restaurant Equipment Outlet 888-542-5959

My rinnai heater keeps my water running hot and cold, hot and cold and I can't have a decent shower! How do I stop it from doing that?

if it has been constant from instalation it might be that ur shower head is rated too low to get enogh gpm ( gallons per minute) it will tell u most of the time around the shower head where it threads onto the spot of the wall what the gpm is. alot of the energy saver heads are restricting tehgpm to 1.5 or .5 gpms to conserve water well the water heater will only operate correctally around .5 gpm depending on model so if u are not pulling enough water u will not turn the water heater on to get ur hot water all the time so go to lowes ( or locally trusted hardware) and get a new shower head make shure u look for the gpm on teh head and check in ur owners manual to see what gpm ur water heater kicks on

P.S. if ur shower head is rated at higher gpm say 1.5 and it is corroded or pluged up say with lime it is going to restrict it causing a lower gpm

How do you remove the impeller from the main pump on a Hobart C44AW. I have taken the nut off the end of the shaft but I don't know if the impeller pulls off or screws off.

It pulls off. Just use a small/medium sized gear puller and it'll come easily ( there is a lip on the impeller for the purpose of pulling).

Winterizing a LXIH Hobart dish washer

Joe - The main issue is that the builtin booster heater is full of water - it has to be drained - there may be a small drain plug (square-shaped head), if not, you may have to pull loose the heater element to drain the tank. I would pour antifreeze solution in there and also in the wash tank. Unhook the water inlet - you say the machine is hard-plumbed in but mfgr recommends using brauided water hose to connect to water supply. hopefully this helps - I service commercial machines and came across your question and maybe you can ansqwer one of mine - how do I cancel the "delime" indicator? I can't find operators manual. jimmy.

Hobart lx 18 warewasher what hatco booster heater product compatable with it

The answer to this question will be based on the incoming water temperature that is supplied to the booster heater. The standard sizing for a booster heater is based off of a 40 degree F rise (140 degree F incoming water temperature) or a 70 degree F rise (110 degree F incoming water temperature). For a 40 degree F rise, a Hatco model C-5, S-5, or PMG-60 will supply the needed amount of rinse water for the LX-18 Hobart dishwasher. A 70 degree F rise would require a Hatco model C-9, S-9, or PMG-60 to supply the same Hobart model number.

Water usage per cylce

water usage is about right. top loaders use far more and so does hand washing
only way there would be excessive water usage is if machine were overfilling

Odd operation

This unit is a sanitizer, not a full fledged dishwasher. It is designed for restaurants and bars where the primary use is washing glassware. The behavior you describe is normal for this model. The manual can be found at the following link:
