Hi..my name is Keith..and you can go to an online lawn mower parts site and put in your model of lawn mower and search for the mowing deck..and they will have a diagram of the mowing deck with the belt on it..and there are several sites online but i'll give you the one i use www.outdoordistributers.com ...i hope this has helped

I have found the manual at JD's website. Click the link and scroll down in the left column until you find the heading for replacing the belt. I contains big, clear photos. Here is the link:
