You have to purchase MS points, which go into your Xbox live account, which you can then use to purchase games. Here is a link to the Microsoft website where you can buy points:

That is 4 months and 2 days ago, which implies that any "one-year" warranty will still be in effect. Take it back to STAPLES, and they will repair/replace it, at no cost to you.

I have not heard of a problem with the blowers or a recall. But depending on what unit you have, and who you purchase the blower from, perhaps you could get a warranty so that you aren't spending out of pocket everytime. The original Vangaurd manufacturer, Desa International, went out of business in 2008, but there is a new company that took over some lines of the units and are still making the blowers for most of them. They hold a warranty on the blowers if you purchase is from a Distributor. I hope this helps a little!

call the manufacture for the exact model if its under warranty they may just send you a new one. be careful not void your warranty.

if it is only 2 months old then i suggest a warranty replacement. if you are getting issues already then you need to speak to your seller. manufacturers warranties will cover your goods and the seller should replace any problem parts for you for free.
