sorry for lack of info unit is ALUP SCK 31-08/so yes error 15 is shown on display

What make / model compressor are we talking about here? The error code 15 is on a LCD on the unit?

Well lets start with the basics, if you haven't done this already, unplug the unit, leave it unplugged from the power for a good 2 minutes at least, and then plug it back in. Does it still persist with error 15?

Let me know, unfortunately most of the info I have on this is in German, will keep looking here.

No problem, I figured as much, just wanted to verify. I have tried speaking with someone at ALUP but they say they need more information on the model / need to speak with the actual customer. I hate to send you their way, but give them a call at 800-528-5192 to see if they can tell you what error 15 is indicating. This is not a published number so at least know that you are getting some benefit here =).

Msa 1000 error code 408

Hi, a similar issue with MSA 1xxx series StorageBoxes is found in the HP - Enterprise forums 409 Storage Box 1 Power Supply Failed MSA500 G2 . The error code might not be the same but if the device is still able to boot and run, you can clear the error code by pressing the left & right simultaneously while the error message is in display. This is stated in the following picture shown below:

E5 Outdoor activation of compressor over heatprotection or motor lock. Check fan motor mechanism is locked. Replace fan motor.If compressor getting high amps, replace running capacitor and check. If still problem, replace compressor. Thanks, helpful.

hold the power button for 15 sec. for a system reset. Try to remove each panel that opens and check for broken pieces of paper Recycle the system by reinstalling the software once again. If you getting error codes then follow this We need to clear out these error codes stored in your printer NVRAM or memory! Shut down the printer and pc associated with it. Remove data cable and reinstall the software for this printer, press and hold the power button on the printer for 15 seconds, then reconnect the printer after software installation is successful. This process will clear the error codes that you keep receiving
