I have a kicker cvx 12" dual 2 ohm sub. It is seized. I was running it on a jl e1400d amp at 400 watts 1ohm. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Unfortunately no. Once the voice coil is blown, that's it. I know that kicker has some recone kits, but the speaker is not able to be broken down for repair. I think you can send them off to kicker for repair, but for the cost, you can almost buy a new one. Sorry, I know it's not what you wanted to hear. www.kicker.com

One of my kicker cvrs rattle really loud at high volumes

It could be the foam edging where the speaker meets the edge of the cone. Rubber works better than foam, and I believe kicker uses foam for this model. Check for any missing screws because sometimes air leaks make that sound you hear. also try turning down the amp a little bit

Every time my sub hits it makes a buzzing

There may be any of several problems.

If you send high pitch signals to a speaker designed for lows, it can cause waves to propagate outward causing a buzzing. Look up the specs on the speaker and verify that your crossover cuts off well below the high end frequency for this speaker.

Another problem can be due to the mounting which can resonate. This should be mounted on at least plywood that is 1/2 inch or more thick. It needs to be wood as plastic or metal will rattle and buzz.

Another problem can be the wiring near this can rattle and buzz.

Check out these possibilities.

Buzz in amplifier power transformer. The amp is a Marantz Model 240. It functions perfectly well, and there's no noise from it in the speakers, but the transformer buzzes whenever the unit is plugged in...

All transformers buzz though you cannot hear it normally. The big transformers on power lines like to buzz for all to hear. When a transformer in a stereo amp gets old and deteriorates or gets hot and  expands the coils, melts the coil varnish and epoxy coatings then rattles at 60 times per second.    You can ignore it or change the transformer. There are too many layers of windings to try to stick anything in there.  Disconnecting a transformer results in inductive kickback -that's not money. It's a big, whopping electrical gotcha! Be careful! Good luck, Steve Medley
