Question about Canon PIXMA MP460 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Check if the protective covering has been removed for both the cartridges.
Remove both the cartridges and try with the older ones and check if it being detected.
I would also like to confirm if the cartridges are new or has the older cartridges been refilled. If refilled then the printer may fail to recognize both the cartridges.
If the older cartridge works fine then the problem is with the new cartridge and that it can be returned and another one installed.
