Question about Hotpoint Ultima WF860 Front Load Washer
Push a screwdriver into the 3rd hole and this will depress the tab on the drum that stops the lifter from moving towrds you. Once the tab is bent down a wee bit the lifter should slide forward and come out. To replace a new lifter the tab needs to be bent back up a wee bit say 3mm proud of the drum and push the new lifter back in until you hear a snap. That's it.

Grasp it firmly with both hands, and pull it towards you, it requires quite a bit of effort to do this.
Fit new one by pushing it in and towards rear of drum until you feel it click into place..
