Reinstalled OS on my dell latitude D800, cant connect to the net, dont have my resource cd . how can I put the drivers on? tried a usb key but when it asks for drive I cant find the drivers on it. thanks James

Yes you have speakers. Either your audio circuit is defective or your software drivers are corrupted. Try holding down the key next to the key while powering on the laptop. This should invoke a diagnostic program which will test you audio circuit. You can also boot from your Resource CD and initiate diagnostics to test the audio. If you hear audio from the laptop using these diags then you have a problem with the drivers or software, not hardware.

Check whether the wireless and Blueetoth enabled in BIOS. If still have problem. Unistall and reinstall the drivers from support.dell.com

you need the drivers for the nic. you can get them from support.dell.com by typing in the service tag. obviously, you'll need a computer with a working network connection. copy them over on cd or usb drive to the laptop.
