I have refilled ink in my cartridge but when i try to print nothing comes out i.e it gives faint copies

Ink is full but nib is faulty will pen writes? similarly cartridge refilled with ink but nozzles are clogged/blocked then print wont happen properly..before refilling the cartridge check nozzle status, clean nozzles properly then refill it. Remedy1:Take little warm water pour in small container dip nozzles in water wait some 2-3 minutes clean nozzle area with dry smooth cloth...try it till print quality improves..Remedy2: You can do clan/align process through printer drivers properties..

Changed black ink but it still prints very very lite and only part of the document.

Hi

Try to make print nozzle for 2-3 times to clean the print head.

If not, adjust the print quality from text to photo.

Regards.

Epson PictureMate - can't clean all nozzles & Error P

Many times head cleaning will throw much ink away. 1 time about 10% of ink. After meny times head cleaning, ink will out, and need replacement. May be after head cleaning nozzle is ok, but after replacement, printer do ink charge. It may be distrub the flow of ink at head. Is the cartridge new?. Use CISS for continuity printing.

Ink inserts show adequate ink but printed copies not proper color

Try this: Using the Guide for the software (don't you have an icon for the guide on your desktop?) select the "printing" troubleshooting option. It should show the steps to cleaning the print heads and how to do a nozzle check. It is really easy to do both, just click where it reads "clean print heads" and "nozzle check." I'm not positive this is the solution to your problem but it is worth a try--better than trying to get anything out of Epson's tech support. (Good luck with that!) I hope this does help.

That is normally just a dirt issue.
Clean the following.
1. Midway down the right side door, there is a channel with a very thin wire running through it. Gently brush out that channel, then dampen a Q-tip with alcohol and clean that wire, Apply just slight pressure so you do not break the wire.
2. On that same right hand door, near where the paper exits, you will see a silver metal,"sawtooth" shaped strip. Most likely you will notice it is covered with ink. Brush it clean, if you need to take a dry cloth and gently clean it.
3. Remove the copy cartridge. Look on the bottom right side of the machine, you will see a set of contacts. 2 parallel contacts, per set. Clean all the excess ink off of those also. Dry brush or cloth. then look on the cartridge and clean any corresponding contacts in the machine.
4. Check on the upper left there is a door connector. Just make sure none of the tabs are broken on that.
Keep in mind, there are horizontal and vertical contacts to clean on the right side of the machine.
The vast majority of the time. Carefully and throughly cleaning those contacts and that machine area in general will resolve a U9. Pretty common on that machine. It is caused from the high voltage in the machine arching, due to dirty contacts.
