Question about Acer AL1916W 19" LCD Monitor
My monitor does the same thing but when I plug in my crappy old dell monitor it works fine (which I'm using right now). The solution has to do with what he is talking about.
We have a step by step dis-assembly and repair guide posted on our web site at:
www.ccl-la.com/monitor_repair.htm your modeml is the same as the Westinghouse L1975NW monitor. The problem is the inverter in the power supply that runs the backlights. You will need to replace a few electronic parts and then you will be back running. We also have a repair kit of all the needed parts. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we can do it for you, just let us know.
I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
