Question about AT&T Lucent MLS-12D Phone

1 Answer

I have an MLS-12D phone that needs odd programming - picking up the handset to call out should default to our main line (Line 1) (right now it defaults to a different line ? Line 2). Also, it should NOT be able to place outbound calls on Line 3; but it SHOULD be able to pick up calls that are ringing or on hold on Line 3. Please help! Thank you!

Well, there is a lot of things to do.

First, here is how to do Auto Line Select.

Is it only 1 phone that should be making outgoing calls? Or is it not place any outgoing calls ONLY on line 3?

    From extension 10 or 11

    Feature 00
    Left intercom
    Left Intercom
    Dial #302
    Dial a system extension #
    Dial a system line #
    Dial 1=No Restriction, 2=Outgoing Only,
3=Incoming Only, 4=No Access (line appears
on button, but you can use line only to pick up a
    transferred or held call)

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Mls12d to turn on local ringer

First of all, is it programmed to ring? From Ext 10 or 11 press FEATURE 00 LIC LIC RIC and dial the extension you want to look at programming. The line buttons will light up. They will be SOLID for RING, SLOW BLINK for DELAY RING, or FAST BLINK for No Ring. Just keep pushing each line button until you get what you need. When you're done, press FEATURE 00.

LIC is LEFT INTERCOM RIC is RIGHT INTERCOM button.

Easy enough :-)

I need to display the time and date on this phone can you help mls-12d

Oh, so it displays a date and time, just not the CORRECT one?

From the phone connected to extension 10 or 11, press FEATURE the LIC (left intercom) twick and dial #101 Enter the date in MMDDYY format.

Day of the week is #102 if needed (2.0 or older software) with Sunday being 1, and the time is #103 in HHMM 24 hour format.

Pick up the handset2_bing.gif and drop it back in the cradle or press FEATURE to exit programming.
