We have a Sullair 100 GPQ lubricant recommendation

We have a Sullair 100 GPQ but we do not know what oil is supposed to go into the unit. Is it the 24KT Fluid or the ISO 32 Diester lubricant?

Could you please let me know. 1] Can I use E10 fuel in my new RLT 30 CET 30cc trimmer that I have just purchased and am yet to start up? 2] Is 50 to 1 50mm of oil to one litre of petrol?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

First off the engine is designed to operate on unleaded fuel. The manufacturer makes no statements at all about E-10 Fuel. I will tell you from experience that you can use E-10 Fuel but.... should you ever have a warranty claim make sure the entire fuel system is 100% unleaded pre-mixed fuel. Your not going to hurt the unit using E-10 fuel as long as you maintain the proper fuel-oil mixtures. If anything a splash more of 2 stroke oil as in 22 mm / liter vs 20 mm. Or (+) 8 mm per gal.

Manufacturers statemenrts and recommended fuel mixtures below:

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

n This product is powered by a 2-stroke engine and

requires pre-mixed petrol and 2-stroke lubricant . Premix

unleaded petrol and 2-stroke engine lubricant in

a clean container approved for petrol.

n This engine is certified to operate on unleaded petrol

intended for automotive use with an octane rating
of 87 ([R + M] / 2) or higher.

2 Litres + 4 0 ml =

I want to know what is the optimum km range for changing engine oil in Honda Unicorn.

Optimum km range for changing oil in any bike should be 1000km or 6 months which ever comes first. The oil in a motor is designed not only for lubrication but also to keep the engine clean, if you leave oil in a motor for too long than you are lubricating your motor with dirty oil, oil also loses its viscosity to lubricate and that is why there is a time span. Both oil companies along with manufacturers have increased there oil change (servicing) intervals to some silly kilometre and time spams, sometimes common sense prevails. Use a good quality oil, no need to buy the top of the range and maintain your bike

I have a gen power gx400i generator 4.0kvaor 3.0kw, 4stoke single cylinder air cooled.I'm not sure what type of oil is needed?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. Oil changes are supposed to be every 100 hours. You should use SAE 30 WT (non detergent) oil for at least 3 oil changes / 300 hours then 1 cycle of HD-30 WT oil as it does a bang up job of cleaning things out of the crank case and prevention of the oil rings from sticking on the piston skirt. I have made this recommendation for at least 30 years and never had to rebuild a home owner or RV type engine in a unit where it was known the owner did this cycle of oil changes in a generator. (Vavle work yes.. engine bearing and piston rings no!) .. The brand does NOT matter as long as it is SAE 30 WT oil. Lubricants can not get the SAE rating if they do not meet the standards. Just do NOT use a synthetic oil in it.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Sullair 185 screw compressor

The sullair 185 has a low oil pressure override button that you have to hold in while starting. after the oil pressure builds up(takes about ten seconds) you can release the button and the machine should continue to run.

My grandfather opened up the motor compartment on his Kitchenaid stand mixer and about 1/4 cup of oil came out. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be that much...and do you know what kind of oil is...

Yup, gotta have lubricant. That oil started out as grease. It is food grade grease and most appliance psrts places have it.The motor itself should be oil free. The grease is for the gears.:)

I'm getting a loud knocking/clicking noise @ about 2-3 rpm in my 2007 sx4, I use 5-30 synthetic and have recently changed it to see if it would help, but the noise is still there. The shop forman said he...

I don't recommend using synthetic oil on any vehicle and some manufacture does not even recommend synthetic due to it viscosity. they are excellent oil but have seen and heard it has torned up allot of oil pump and some engine. The only benefits you get from synthetic is that the oil tend to last a bit longer in extreme heat and does not break down as quick with the original oil and you don't have to change the oil often. synthetic is very thin oil does the job, during start up i don't think synthetic give the engine that protection it needed when it come to lubrication; again that my personal belief. They now offer 50/50 oil instead running 100% synthetic. If your car still under factory warranty, I would take it to them and have them look at the vehicle. keep in mind, if the car in still under full factory warranty and you have non Suzuki mechanic touch the car it will void the warranty completely.
