Question about Samsung HT-Z310T Theater System
I recorded video and then i watched the video and i went to finalize it and it failed. I tried with other discs and it does the same thing. Can i retrieve the video from the disc of am i out of luck?
In order to finalize the disc, you have to plug it into the charger. The initialization and finalization will come up and allow you to finalize in order to view it on your DVD player. This thing is kind of backwards to what you would think you would do. Red light comes on when you record, green comes on when you stop, etc. The reason they say it has to be plugged in to finalize is because the camcorder needs to be completely still while finalizing. You can NOT edit anything that's been recorded except delete specific blocks of recording only IF you have a RW and it's in a specific mode. On this camera, what you take is what you get, unfortunately. It has no plug ins to be directly connected to your computer, so if you have a MAC laptop, they can't read mini discs.

I think you should finalise it before watching it
