Question about Brother MFC-9840CDW Laser Printer
Everything I print comes out with all kinds of black all over it, mainly along each side of the paper, but sometimes it's everywhere. It looks like my toner exploded in the machine. I took it apart this morning and cleaned it but now it looks worse. Any help?
Both my toner and drum are new and I still get this issue. It's horrible. any other thoughts. machine is less than 6 months old.

there are several things that may cause that problem. First the toner cartridge you inserted is defective or a spear part in it is losen up. Try to replace the toner cartridge with new and see what will happen afret the printer calibrates.
Second thing which may cause the problem is the end of life on your drum unit. Usualy the printer will inform you when that happens, but if the drum unit is defective you may receive only the described error.
