Question about Canon PowerShot SD10 / IXUS I Digital Camera
I can turn the camera off and on. The auto focus is moving out and in, but the image on the LCD Screen is black and if I look through the view finder I still can't see anything. I did try new batteries and made sure the settings were right. Does anyone have an idea on what this could be? Or how to fix it? Thanks, Sandra LCD turned black when using video and camera.
It's really un beleivable but it works.
I had the same problem of the black screen on my canon ,
& I was getting really angry about it.
Only by connecting the USB cable to the camera (of course when this one is on) and the screen lights on immediatly.

Try connecting it to a computer and then turning on the camera. For some reason that fixed it for mine.
