The tread only breaks in the needle. what can i do . i don't get to sew anything . I tread the needle and get everything ready and start the machine and as quickly as that the tread is broken and the machine has not sewn at all.
SOURCE: breaks needle
Yes they can indeed go out of time and breaking needles is the most likely cause. To solve timing problems you will need a sewing machine engineer though. The part which needs adjusting would be the area above the needle-the needlebar but it is a fiddly affair only to be attembed by someone who can repair sewing machines. It is also a fairly expensive repair as it is very time consuming. However-don't assume it is that. Firstly make sure the new needle is in correctly-the most common cause of problems is needles in wrong direction! If bobbin opens at front then the flat part of the needle faces the back. If bobbin area opens at side then the flat side of needle faces the body of the machine to the right. Check needleplate for damage so that new needle does not catch. File it smooth if you need to! Check you are using a good quality thread as cheap thread causes no end of problems. Guuterman is the best I found.
