The authentication code should appear on the LCD screen during setup. I think the code you are looking for is actually your WI FI password. This enables your camera to connect to the Cannon Gateway. Here is a link to the Cannon manual which may be helpful. If that does not clarify the issue, contact the technical support for your model at Cannon. That link is also supplied below.
You would need to download and install a service program ( search google or similar for "MP190 reset"), then disassemble the machine to get to the waste ink pads in the base of the machine. Remove wash and dry the pads and re-install. Re-assemble the machine and then run the service program to reset the waste ink counter. It is a lot of work for a relatively old machine.

The E03 code indicates (1) That the Paper Output tray is closed and you are trying to print. Open the Paper Output Tray and the printer will resume printing. (2) There is a paper jam. Remove the jam, reload the paper into the printer, then press the "Black" or "Color" button,
Remove all cartridges, clean the ink from where the cartridges make contact with cloth,(paper towels can leave trash in there) be sure all is clean then replace the cartridges and print something. Those streaks shouldn't be there any longer.
I have a pixma too, they are getting old, but as long as they still work who cares? Mine started to print green tinted pictures lately, now I'm searching boards and looking for the solution to that. I put in a service request to canon usa, but haven't heard from them yet, maybe never will. Long Live PIXMA's !
