You can't get parts for this stove anymore so i wouldn't use the self clean on it,use soft scrub to clean it it says not to use easy off on a brand new oven but at this point i don't think it would matter on a 20 to 30 year old oven, when you put a stove into self clean it gets up to 1000 degrees, the wire casings on older stoves break down as it is but with all that heat you can do some damage to the stove, even if you just bought a brand new stove using the self clean can damage the electronics in it,usually it will take out the computer board or clock assy. same thing, your clock is most likely broken on that anyway or something else could be wrong with it and most likely you won't get it to self clean but if you want to use it or try to get it into self clean go here and read from page 32 to 36 hope this helps you out but i would not put it into self clean

SOURCE: The clock works but the oven does not heat up
Hello George, welcome to fixya.
The symptoms you describe are a common occurrence when the hi-limit has tripped. This typically occur's following a self clean cycle. The display will indicate the oven is indeed "on" but it will not heat do to the circuit being interrupted by the hi-limit ( which is what it was designed to do ).
Fortunately if it is tripped, they are the manual reset type and are accessible behind the black grill/vent just above the door and just below the control panel next to the lock latch assembly.
**Turn off the 40amp breaker at your service panel or sub-panel in the home before attempting any service...safety first**
With the power off, you should be able to remove the grill and push the red button in the center of the thermostat and that should fix your problem...if indeed the hi-limit is tripped you`ll know immediately because you`ll feel it click as you push it down.
It will look like the image below...
Let me know if I can assist you further. If this solves your problem please rate the solution accordingly, if not let me know and I`ll try to guide you through other possible scenario`s.
Thanks for visiting "fixya" and good luck.

SOURCE: what is error code F34
If your Thermador was manufactured between 2004 and 2007, this may be due to a recall issue. I kept getting this error on my Thermador wall oven when I would run the self-cleaning feature, and when heating it over 375 degrees. After doing some research, I discovered that my oven was recalled. Apparently there are gaps in the insulation which could cause a fire. You can find out more on the Thermador website: http://www.thermador.com/safety-notices/7_oven-safety-recall-notice-expanded
SOURCE: I am getting an F64
Hi, i found out from Thermador customer service that error code F64 means that the lower fan switch (located inside the bottom trim on the right side) is not being detected as closed. In my case, this was because the header (P4) on the Display panel had broken loose from the PC board and was no longer making contact. P4 is where the lower fan switch wires connect to the control boards (actually the display panel).
