On zenpadzed8 need pin no but don't recall ever needing or using one How do i get one to do reset

No you dont need to take to the dealer. If you are the registered owner they will give you the pin or if you have a owner manual it should be in the front page area if not the dealer needs to give it to you there should not be a charge

For you to reset the bios all you need to do is to take it out, but before you do that you'll need to power off your laptop.
