The only thing I can suggest is getting a new one. In theory, it should be possible to just fix whatever the problem is. In theory. However, should the problem repeat itself, it might come to the point where the total cost of ownership will outweigh the cost of getting a new humidifier. I would suggest something like the Honeywell HCM350W. It's a little bit bulky and you'd
need to change the filters regularly, but it's a good and not very expensive humidifier.
