SOURCE: LG HD Digital Video Recorder LST 5402P has stopped displaying menu onscreen

first i assume you are trying to watch the unit through AV. If this is the case, turn on unit, press "Display Format" on the front of the unit, keep press it till you have "YPBPR" displaying, press select on front panel, next press "Display Format" again till you come to 576i, press select. Now press menu and it should display. If this problem occurs with HDMI, simply change the display settings to HDMI, and 1080i. Hope it helps, Murder-face.

SOURCE: OSD function menu

ok i think i know how to get rid of it now, i did an ATX reset on it and it does go away HOWEVER as soon as you push the menu button again it comes back.

ATX Reset: unplug the main power lead then hold down the power button on the front of the monitor for about 10 seconds, plug the mains lead back in and then switch the monitor on.

SOURCE: OSD for NAD T752

The blue screen indicates a proper connection (signal received by the monitor). Try selecting "amp" on your HTR 2 remote then use any directional button at the center of the remote, the keys which circle the "Enter" button. Hopefully you will then see the menu appear. Use the same directional keys to navigate the menus.

Input source menu scrolls continously

I had this same issue, however it happened to be the HDMI cable that I used that was causing it, no idea why. I knew the cable didn't work well with my PS4 connected to the TV. But I used that same cable to connect my PC to the TV and the Input menu was going nuts. I disconnected the HDMI from the PC was still doing it, soon as I disconnected the HDMI from the TV it stopped. Just an FYI.

  1. Hold down the Menu and Menu up/scroll (+) buttons simultaneously on the Apple Remote for 6 seconds.
  2. TV will cycle through all of the available resolutions, displaying each for about 15 seconds. Please wait, as it may take up to 2 minutes before a compatible resolution is found. If the display is incorrect or doesn't show up, keep waiting while TV continues to try and find a compatible resolution.
  3. When a picture appears on the screen, navigate to OK with the remote and press the Select/Play/Pause button.
If you think you selected the wrong resolution, repeat these steps again. TV works much better in HD resolutions such as 720p or 1080i. You should choose the 'best' resolution your TV supports.
If HDMI or DVI connections are available on your TV, you can use them instead of component video to avoid this process

Hello I connected my computer to the TV sanyo to watch some videos and movies by a parallel cable, then disconnect my laptop and go back to tv, appears to me, "FFFF" in red in the middle of the screen and...

This also happened to me. FFFF displayed in red in center of screen and ageing time 180 also displayed.
What has happenend as I have discovered is your TV has entered the factory test mode.
You need to reset your television.
This can be done by pressing and holding the menu button on the side of the television and pressing the info button on your remote control.
Scroll down the menu options that appear onscreen and select reset.
click ok
Tv will shut down and restart. Note all channels will automatically re scan then you should not have this problem any more.
Hope this helps

No signal from coax input on 32" lcd

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Due to two things that will cause the No Signal message to come up are – no data available for closed captioning and a weak signal input. Your TV is in the Closed Captioning Mode. To turn off simply bring up the on screen menu and scroll down to the part that says closed captioning and turn this function off! With the closed captioning block displayed and the program being viewed is not sending out closed captioning signals the TV will display, No Signal!

If this doesn’t resolve your issue then the problem may be with the processor failing and it is causing a random read of the EPROM to display the No Signal message.

I’ll suggest you to run the HDMI from the PVR (personal video recorder) directly to the TV (mute the TV), and then run the optical audio from the PVR directly into the receiver's optical in. The closed captioning is something that is addressed in analog broadcasts, but not necessarily digital broadcasts.

Try using Component cables if this doesn’t make a difference. After using components cables your issue will be resolved.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

I have a 32" LCD TV that I can't seem to get any of my DVD players to work on. Keep getting error message "no video signal" but They use to work. help

How do you have your DVD player hooked up to your TV(i.e. composite, s-video, component)? Some DVD payers and TVs have menus to switch inputs and if you somehow switched off the input your players are connected to, you'll get a "no signal" message.  First try hitting the input button on your TV or the Input/connection option in your TV's menu.  If that doesn't work try hooking up the DVD player(s) with the composite Cable(yellow), the component(red, green, blue) and S-Video(black/round) at the same time. If you scroll through your TV's inputs you should get a picture on one of these connections and the TV should display which one. The display will usually be in the corner of the screen.
