This appears to be an older model iron press, and I noticed that the parts chart for it is on the Singer Sewing Machine website. The only thing I might suggest is Craig's List or eBay, although I checked and while I found some parts, I didn't see a press. With patience, however, you can probably locate one.

I need a manual how to use it. please

If you will go to the Singer site (, you can download manuals for free. Occasionally, for whatever reason, the manual is not available for download, but if you email Singer customer service, they will most likely help you.

I have a brother VX-950 sewing machine I have a pretty good stitch on top and bottom, put it is still puckering. I tried the tension. What elese should I try?

New needle and make sure it is the right sized needle for the fabric that you are sewing. If silky satin then use a size 70 or even 60 needle sharp. If microfibre then there are Schmetz needles called microtec that are perfect for this.

Also try shortening the stitch length a little. You may still need to finesse the tension a bit. I think this is a front loading bobbin machine so you might try adjusting the tension on the bobbin holder a little bit. It is hard with these as there is no "0' marking to set it to, its just trial and testing.

Also, are you pinning across the seam line at about 3 inch intervals?

If there is still some puckering happening, then perhaps, stop at the end of the seam with the needle in the work, and ease the fabric along the stitching line a bit to smooth out the seam, then do the reversing stitches at the end to lock off the seam.

Also press, press, press each seam. Always press on top of the seam, turn it over and press the underside of the seam, then lie right side down on the ironing board and press the seam allowances open. This sets the stitches into the fabric and finishes off the seam appearance. I always sew with the ironing press on beside me.

You may still be unhappy with the seam result after doing all this - if you enjoy sewing then consider shopping for a higher quality machine - there is a difference in stitching quality between a $400 and $2,000 machine. You could always take a piece of your fabric to a sewing dealer near you and test sew on a European machine, you should see a difference in the stitching quality.

How to do darning with allure usha sewing Machine

I do not know what machine make and model this is.

But I darn the following way.

Iron onto the back of the hole/rip a piece of iron on mender in a similar colour and weight to your garment, allow just a centimetre extra around the rip. Try to bring the edges as close together and neatly as possible before ironing to attach the patch behind.

Now set the machine to a three step zig zag stitch, stitch width to the maximum and turn stitch length down to about .8 or so. Now sew over the rip/tear area fillling in the damaged area reversing back and forwards to cover the damage and a good margin around it. I use a colour matched thread if I can to make the stitching less obvious.

I need to find an electrical cord for a Tavora press ironer. Thanks --Matt - Hopest1

try, they have accessories for sale so should be able to sell you a power lead too. Just remember to let them know if your press is 110V or 240V depending on which country you are in.
You may also find second hand cable on just search for elnapress rather than Tavaro who were the manufacturing company of Elna products.

I have the same model and my trustworthy repairman tells me they don't make these anymore so there are no repair parts available. Sorry, but you'll probably have to shop for a new iron.

Embroidery machine patterns are not consistant

I'm just beginning to work with my machine, but I have had a similar issue. Some of the possible solutions that I have found include (note: I've tried #1, I will try 2 and 3 soon)...
1. use stabilizer fabric.
2. if you're using tear-away stabilizer, and it is tearing prematurely, try a cut-away stabilizer (or maybe iron-on stabilizer?).
3. if you're embroidering on fabric like fleece, try 'hoopless embroidery' This involves using adhesive stabilizer - put the stabilizer in the hoop with no fabric, (if you don't have adhesive stabilizer, use regular stabilizer and spray it with a craft adehesive) then lay your fabric over the hoop and press the fabric onto the adhesive.
good luck.
