When you power press F1 or F2 or "del" or F5 or F12
try 1 by 1 to enter in bios.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: How to open bios setup

Macs do not have BIOS. They have OpenFirmware.
To access hold down CMD-OPT-O-F during bootup, that is the letter O not zero.
You will get a command prompt 0 >
Do a Google search for OpenFirmware to find out all the commands you can use at the prompt.

SOURCE: Lost install disk for Mac book pro My 13" Mac book

You will need some install disks to even begin working on your issue.
Your options:

  • Find someone with the same model MacBook Pro and borrow the disks.
  • Buy a copy of Leopard (10.5) or Snow Leopard (10.6) and use them. If you are going to buy a set you might as well update to Snow Leopard (10.6)
  • Check eBay for install disks but make sure they are for the same model MacBook Pro.
  • Contact an Apple service center and purchase a replacement set of install disks.
Once you have a install CD, I would recommend backing up your system by making a disk image of the hard drive to an external drive. Then doing a clean install and then using the Migration Assistant to restore your user files to the clean install on your hard drive.

I have no idea. Your best bet is to either take it to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store, go to an authorized Apple Retailer/Repair Center, or wait for a good answer here.

BTW, If you decide to go to your local Apple Store, don't forget to bypass the waiting in lines, simply by going to the Reservation section of the Apple Retail Store area of Apple.com. Here, you'll find handy information about how you can book an appointment at a local apple store for one-to-one appointments, personal shopping, and a reservation suite to book a time to get a solution for your issue at the Genius Bar. The screen on my Mac Book white 13.3" stopped working. it chimes on but nothing to the screen?

Power it off. Hold down the power button. We need it to not show any white light on the front right.

Press Power and HOLD DOWN these 4 keys until you hear 3 Chimes.
ALT+COMMAND+P+R.

That will restore the PRAM (bios to PC users) to factory settings. If that fails then a trip to the Apple store will be in order.

How do i get to the bios setup for my book

Macs use Intel's Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) to perform the same job as a BIOS. Intel have been trying to introduce this for years, but thanks to Microsoft dragging their feet, were unable to put it into any production units until Apple switched onto their processors. Therefore there is no BIOS screen on a Mac, as they don't have a BIOS.

so to achive changes you have to Edit your Boot.ini file
