The heater keeps cycling off on the High limit safety.

A couple of months ago, my heater kept cycling off as well. I had a mechanic come do some repair work on it. He said that I had damaged it by constantly keeping it on the 'on' switch, instead of the 'auto' switch. How often do you try to keep your heater running? Maybe if you turn it to 'auto', then it would work better. Heating and Hot Air Furnaces Cooling Heating Gillette NJ

I have a Jacuzzi J340 Hot Tub. I am having trouble with the heating. When the pump is on, the water circulates just fine. once the heater kicks on, it runs for about 10 seconds, then clicks to OH, and...

make sure the heating element isnt touching the casing inside the heating tube. if its an indoor tub, make sure the filtration cycles are not set to constant. constant filter cycles on an indoor tub will generate residual heat from the circ pump running 24/7, causing tub to heat past 104 degrees

Control is programmed to
stop the current cycle and
not allow any further
cycles if it suspects a
faulty heater (no
temperature increase
detected in heated
intervals). Control blinks
the Clean LED 7 times in
repetitive fashion and
disables the Start/Resume
key until cleared.
Heater circuit problem:
■ Open in heater.
■ Open connection or
component in heater
circuit.
■ Faulty heater drive
circuit on control.
Running Diagnostics clears the control and
allows it to operate again. If heating problem
is not corrected though, the control will stop
running again on next cycle. See below.
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Check all components and connections in
the water heating circuit or heat dry circuit.
■ Check resistance of heater.
■ Check resistances of all connections and
components between the control and
heater.
■ Check operation of heater and temperature
sensor in Diagnostics cycle.

Cycles on and off after reaching desired temperature

The problem sounds like the thermostat which is probably a bimetal strip. It sounds like the bimetal strip is just constantly bending one direction then the other. It could be possibly adjusted by bending it -- this would be a trial and error process.

Or, it could be replaced.

Heat Starter motor constantly running when ac is on

By saying the heater starter motor I guess your taking about the combustion blower( the small motor that vents to chimney) If it runs during the A/C cycle then the main circuit board is bad.
